Visa 482 - Temporary Skill Shortage visa

Types of Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482):

• Short-term stream
• Medium-term stream
• Labour agreement stream
• Subsequent entrant

With this visa, you can:

• Stay up from 2 to 4 years or as long as your visa is valid (with subsequent entrant)
• Work in Australia for up to 2 years or up to 4 years
• Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want while the visa is valid
• If eligible, apply for permanent residence

Basic Eligibility:

• Be nominated for a skilled position by an approved sponsor
• Have the right skills to do the job
• Meet the relevant English language requirements
• Meet health and character requirements
