Visa 485 - Post-Study Work Stream

With this visa, you can:

• Live, study and work in Australia temporarily after you have finished your studies, from 2 years to 4 years depending on your qualification 
• Since July 2023,  the Australian Government will increase the duration of stay for some Temporary Graduate visas (subclass 485), for some certain occupations and eligible qualifications,
• Bring your immediate family members stay with you

Eligibility

• Be under 50 years of age
• Hold an eligible visa 
• Have held a student visa in the last 6 months
• Have a recent degree in a CRICOS-registered course
• Have evidence of adequate health insurance for all applicants when you apply
• Provide evidence of adequate health insurance for all applicants when you apply
• Provide evidence you have applied for an AFP check when you apply 
• Have the required level of English (IELTS overall 6.0 with no band lower than 5.0)
